This is the ancestry of Gran’s 4th Great-Grandmother, Naomi Needham, beginning with Gran’s 8th Great-Grandfather, Anthony Needham.

1. ANTHONY¹ NEEDHAM (AnthonyA) was born in (possibly Derbyshire), England in December 1628 and died in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts on 6 Sep 1705. He married in Salem on 10 Jan 1655, ANN POTTER.

“NEEDHAM, Anthony (1628-1705; son of Anthony); from Eng., 1653; settled at Salem, Mass.; corpl. [Corporal] Salem Old Troop, 1665; lt. [Lieutenant] in King Philip’s War, 1675; lt. Troop of Horse, 1678; m. 1655, Ann (d 1695), dau. of Humphrey Potter, of Coventry, Eng., killed in Irish massacre at Dublin, 1641; g. dau. of Thomas Potter, mayor of Coventry [England], 1622.”

4. JASPER4 NEEDHAM (Anthony³, Anthony², Anthony¹)was born in Wales, Hampshire, Massachusetts on 3 Jul 1738 and died in Wales on 14 Dec 1821. He married in South Brimfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts on 4 Nov 1758, DEBORAH FULLER.

Jasper served in the American Revolution.
